Giving FAQs

How is my donation used?

When you donate to Dignity Freedom Network Canada (DFNC), you can rest assured that your donation is directly helping children and their families in South Asia. You may designate your gift to general funds or to a specific purpose such as scholarship, educational assistance, school construction, health programs, life necessities, or other urgent needs.

Though we make all reasonable efforts to use your gift as designated, sometimes that is not possible. For example, sometimes financial needs for a specific fund have been achieved that year (e.g. a building project). In that case, funds will be reallocated to further our overall mandate subject to board approval.

How can I be sure you are using my financial gifts responsibly?

Every year, our annual reports are published online for our generous supporters to review.
